Hello there, my name is James Martin and I come from a very small town in Indiana called Spencer. My family has always said things like “Those things are for rich people” or “We do not mess with those, that is too fancy”. This is a message that I never understood and could never follow. When I see something that I like, I do whatever in my power I can to get that. If it means that I need to learn a new skill, watch hundreds of YouTube videos to understand, or attend a class to practice, that is something that I will always do. When I was in my early 20s, I started working for Boston Scientific Corporation and was able to meet amazing people who helped me learn new skills I wanted to understand. I have had great managers that would ask me what I would like to learn and be able to do, then they would put me in contact with someone that was able to help me with this. I have had inspirational co-workers that have been able to upload their knowledge of something to me and expand my understanding of a process. This collection of people and my willingness to be open to learning are all things that have helped develop me into the person that I have become today. I have turned those negative sayings that my family would utter into “Give me a strong connection to the internet, a fast computer, and a task and I can run the world.”
Starting this podcast with my friend Sarah was never really about making money or becoming famous, if you look at our listener and subscriber count you can definitely tell that this statement is backed up with data! The entire idea for this podcast was to have some time to meet up with a friend to catch up to expand my knowledge of a subject that I am either interested in or is a current event impacting people around me. If you listen to the podcast, my hope is that you will get interesting information that is delivered in a way that makes sense to the people that say “Oh, that is for smart people” because information is meant to be consumed by everyone. There is nothing that you are not meant to have or be able to achieve in your life, all you have to do is know what you want and be willing to be open to learning and working for that.
Whether you are listening to the podcast on your way to work, while sipping your morning coffee, or working out in the gym, all I ask is that you enjoy the information that we a presenting to you and, hopefully, laugh along the way. Please feel free to contact us with specific information you would like us to discuss on the podcast. If you would like to be a guest on the podcast, let us know, we are more than happy to bring more people into the discussion.

Sarah Smith (LeTendre) is a nut butter sandwich who is lovingly put up with by James. They are also a writer with three published books (all available on Amazon). Originally born in California, grew up in Indiana, and now living in Texas, they have a tendency to be silly, out of sorts, and often loopy. But hey, they are a lot of fun!
Currently, they are working as a front desk associate for a massage parlor chain. They are striving to earn a degree in linguistics, though health conditions have currently thrown a monkey’s wrench into the plans (and where did the monkey get that wrench anyway?), but they are still trucking along.
